A Florida man attempting to make good on a threat to kill his girlfriend was thwarted by police who caught him chasing her with a loaded gun, authorities alleged.
Body camera footage from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office caught the terrifying ordeal from Saturday — when deputies pulled up in the nick of time.
That’s when they found Aaron Thayer, 39, allegedly pointing a loaded gun at his estranged girlfriend while chasing her out of her home.

The footage shows the deputies springing into action while telling the victim to stay put near their patrol cars — and giving chase to Thayer before Tasing him and ordering him to put his hands behind his back.
