Blue state Democrats criticize Biden’s apathy toward border crisis

President Joe Biden is facing backlash this week from fellow party members as cities in blue states across the country struggle to accommodate migrants pouring in from Republican border states. Democrats across the country have repeatedly criticized the Biden administration for their lack of action to solve the border crisis. 

Further, New York State Gov. Kathy Hocul, D-N.Y., revealed during a public address last month that she “issued a letter to the Biden administration formally requesting that it take executive action to address New York’s migrant crisis.”

In her comments, Hochul alludes to the fact the immigration crisis in the state has been created by the federal government and therefore remains the responsibility of the federal government to solve, according to Fox
