Blake Moore falls asleep during marathon meeting on ‘big, beautiful bill’


Rep. Blake Moore (R-UT) fell asleep for a moment during an all-night meeting to pass the House Republicans’ tax legislation.

The House Ways and Means Committee gathered from Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning before voting 26-19 to approve a $3.8 trillion tax cut over the next 10 years. Just before 5 a.m., the committee was gearing up to vote when Moore slumped in his chair with his eyes closed and head tilted to one side.
