President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden are making a midweek getaway to their luxury beachside property, heading back to Delaware for the 12th time 100-plus days into his administration.
“In the evening, the president and the first lady will travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where they will remain until Friday,” the White House’s daily guidance email for Wednesday stated.
Aides did not immediately provide more details regarding the trip.
The Bidens traveled to their sprawling lakeside home in Wilmington last week to pay respects to the family of Norma Long, a former staffer who first worked for the president when he ran for New Castle County Council in 1970.
