Biden’s Energy Policy Is Just A Dangerous And Costly Green New Deal

On this episode of “The Federalist Radio Hour,” Samantha Dravis, senior vice president at Clout Public Affairs and visiting fellow at the Independent Women’s Forum, joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to discuss the Biden administration’s approach to energy and why conversations about climate change and other environmental policies are so difficult to have.

“It’s a pretty stark departure from the last administration where we had an energy policy of energy dominance, energy independence, energy security, and President Trump presided over this era … to unleash growth through deregulation,” Dravis said. “We’re in a very different era now working with a president who needs to cancel pipelines and move away from using fossil fuels and restructure our economy around wind and solar, which is very dangerous and it’s going to be really costly.”

Conversations about energy, Dravis said, need to happen, but today’s political climate doesn’t usually allow for it.
