Biden, Trump to hold competing prime-time town halls on Oct. 15


President Trump and his Democratic challenger Joe Biden will take part in competing prime-time town halls Thursday night on what would have been the evening of their second debate.

NBC News announced Wednesday that it will hold a town hall event with Trump in Miami hosted by “TODAY” anchor Savannah Guthrie.

It will air from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. and feature Florida voters and the president outdoors at the Pérez Art Museum.

At the same time, ABC News will host a town hall meeting with Biden at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia and be anchored by George Stephanopoulos.

ABC’s town hall will be broadcast from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
