Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is ahead, according to new polls in North Carolina and Wisconsin, two swing states President Trump likely needs to win in November to keep his office.
The North Carolina poll surveyed 1,006 respondents from Sept. 9-13 and carries with it a margin of error of 3.9 points. In previous polls in the state, the results have shown a very close race. A poll from WRAL-TV and SurveyUSA that covered the same time frame put the race at a tie, a relative rarity among polling results.
