Biden Granddaughter’s Secret Service Detail Opens Fire During Car Break-In


A Secret Service agent tasked with protecting Naomi Biden, a granddaughter of President Joe Biden, reportedly opened fire during an unoccupied government vehicle break-in on Sunday night.

The incident took place around midnight in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C., according to a statement from the Secret Service released on Monday.

“Secret Service agents encountered possibly three individuals breaking a window on a parked and unoccupied government vehicle. During this encounter, a federal agent discharged a service weapon and it is believed no one was struck,” the statement said.

“The offenders immediately fled the scene in a red vehicle and a regional lookout was issued to supporting units,” the statement added. “There was no threat to any protectees and the incident is being investigated by the DC Metropolitan
