Biden administration expands federal land use for solar power farms

The updates to the Western Solar Plan, managed by the Bureau of Land Management, will allow public land in 11 Western states to be sites for solar power farms.

This year, the BLM met its goal of permitting more than 25 gigawatts of clean energy projects on federal land.
