‘Bella Ciao’ — the Italian communist song that inspired Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin

In the investigation of Charlie Kirk‘s tragic assassination, “Bella Ciao” was found engraved on one of three unfired bullet casings. 

The exact words, “O bella ciao, bella ciao,” are lyrics from an Italian communist song that many in the media have dismissed as merely being “anti-fascist” or a tune about resistance. This is an oversimplification and an attempt to hide the song’s connection to contemporary radical and violent left-wing political deviance. 

“Bella Ciao” has emerged as an anthem linked to groups inspired by communism, neo-Marxist ideals, and with a predilection for violence. The engraving of “Bella Ciao” on an assassin’s bullet casing is just the latest example of the violent future the radical Left is seeking.
