Baseball Season Could Be On The Verge Of Cancellation -Report

It is looking increasingly likely that the 2020 Major League Baseball season could be on the verge of being canceled less than two weeks after the delayed season opener. 

Things are looking mighty grim after multiple members of the Miami Marlins tested positive for the coronavirus leading to the team postponing a week’s worth of games and sending a ripple effect through the league.

Now according to reports, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has spoken with players union chief Tony Clark and floated the possibility that the plug could be pulled if the positive test results continue. 

Mandred’s admission that the season is doomed came on the day that the Milwaukee Brewers had to call off their home opener after two members of the opposing team, the St. Louis Cardinals tested positive on Friday morning.
