Barrasso touts Trump’s ‘pace and progress’ in first 100 days: ‘Breathtaking’


Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) dismissed criticisms of President Donald Trump‘s first 100 days in office and pointed to “the progress made.”

Barrasso came to Trump’s defense amid polls from the Washington Post, CNN, and the New York Times, which showed Trump’s approval rating below 40%. This is the lowest for any president at the 100-day mark of their first or second terms in office for the past roughly 80 years.

“Look, these first hundred days with President Trump, you talk about the pace and the progress made, it’s been breathtaking. And in terms of securing the border, getting his Cabinet in place so quickly, lowering prices for the first time in four years, amazing,” Barrasso said on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.
