The son of Arizona’s governor posted video online of maskless revelers at a birthday party — despite his father warning residents to stay home to curb the state’s raging coronavirus cases.
The clip starts at a Benihana restaurant, where Jack Ducey, the eldest son of Republican Gov. Doug Ducey, is sitting at a table with other guests — all of whom appear to be without masks.
The footage then shows a packed indoor dance floor where dozens of young people are cutting it up sans face coverings.
“The kid is treating himself right,” Ducey, who is in his early 20s, wrote in a caption. “Solid birthday to say the least.”
The video was shared on his now-private Instagram account on Dec. 30, after his father warned against indoor gatherings over the holiday period. Although the governor stopped short of imposing a statewide curfew or more aggressive measures to combat rising infections, the Arizona Republic reported.
It’s unclear exactly where
