Andrew Yang back on campaign trail after kidney stone hospitalization


Andrew Yang is back on the campaign trail for New York City mayor after being hospitalized with a kidney stone.

Yang, 46, was discharged from Mt. Sinai West hospital after being diagnosed with a kidney stone, he said Friday morning. The former presidential candidate canceled his campaign events that day.

He posted photos of himself attending an Easter egg hunt in the borough of Queens and eating french fries and a gyro on Saturday.

“Thank you to the team at Mt Sinai West for the excellent care,” his team said in a Friday tweet. “Have been discharged and will now proceed to drink lots of water for the rest of the day.”
