An amusement park ride in Saudi Arabia collapsed, sending dozens of screaming riders hurtling to the ground in a horrific caught-on-video incident.

State media said 23 people were injured, four of them seriously, when the 360 Big Pendulum ride suddenly snapped in half and the illuminated spinning wheel carrying passengers careened toward the earth.

The nightmarish incident took place last week at Green Mountain Park in Taif near the country’s western coast, located around 175 miles east of the Red Sea.
