New photos show an adorable, rare ‘L’Hoest’ monkey born at Edinburgh Zoo.
The baby arrived to parents Sheli and Jamal, after a five month gestation period.
The infant is currently unnamed, but keepers will select a name once they are able to determine the monkey’s sex in the coming weeks.
Adorable new photos released by the zoo show the infant clinging to mum Sheli as she perches on branches around her enclosure.
It will stay clinging to its mother for several months, but will remain dependent on her for around two years.
