ABC's Hostin: Melania Trump Auction 'Is Like Basement, Tacky-Type Stuff'


ABC legal analyst Sunny Hostin said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that former first lady Melania Trump’s online auction was “basement, tacky-type stuff.”

Trump’s “Head of State Collection” includes a white hat, digital and watercolor paintings, and one-of-a-kind signed items.

Hostin said, “I think it’s unusual for a former first lady to try and auction off things she wore when she was in the White House. It’s so very tacky. People always talk about Melania being so graceful and so elegant. This is like basement, tacky-type stuff.”
