The husband of a Pennsylvania mother of six killed during a cold-blooded road-rage shooting in North Carolina wept as he begged his wife to “keep breathing,” according to a heartbreaking 911 call.
Ryan Eberly told a police dispatcher his 47-year-old wife, Julie Eberly, was shot in the hip and “bleeding badly” following the March 25 shooting — as the couple drove on Interstate 95 in Lumberton.
The pair were heading to celebrate their anniversary in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
“My wife is shot, she’s bleeding badly, I need help now,” Ryan Eberly frantically told the dispatcher, according to the call obtained Thursday by WPDE. “Please hurry!”
Eberly said his wife wasn’t responsive and her breathing was “very labored” following the gunfire that rang out after he accidentally cut off another driver on the highway.
