A 2-year-old boy who was abducted from a Virginia church and thought to be in “extreme danger” has been found safe, authorities said Monday.
Noah Gabriel Trout was safe with FBI agents and Virginia State Police on Monday following his abduction a day earlier from the nursery at Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead, WSET reported.
“Thankfully, we’ve got some good news to tell you,” Giles County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Scott Moye told reporters. “This happened about 20 minutes ago … As of right now, they’re still trying to go through all of the leads that they have, talking to him, making sure he’s OK.”
Moye provided no details regarding how Noah was found, but said additional information would be released at a second, “bigger” press conference at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
