It’s no surprise that the 1st Transgender State Senator comes from Delaware the same place where Biden reigned as a Senator for 30 years.
Democrat Sarah Mcbride became the highest-ranking transgender official in the United States after being sworn in as a Delaware State Senator on Tuesday.
She won about 73% of the vote, according to unofficial results from the Delaware Department of Elections.
This isn’t too shocking considering Delaware is largely a blue state where Republican candidates have basically no chance.
